Beauty is all around us and every person interprets it differently, and as a fashion designer, fabrics are my way of showing beauty and speaking art. It is a language of delicacy and conceptuality. My artworks represent the culture and reality that reflect my soul and sheer thoughts. Combining different art fields that I love, such as music, dancing, fashion designing, storytelling, and Arabic calligraphy, led me to creating these artworks that reflect the different cultures and arts, which inspired me during my journey.

The motion of Arabic calligraphy

“The significance of calligraphy is spiritual harmony and the birth of motion”.


In this design, I wanted to show the circulation and overlapping of the Aljale AlDewany calligraphy letters over the traditional Syrian fabric patterns.

Emirati jewels & calligraphy 


Calligraphy is the most direct form of all artistic expressions. Just as each movement of the dancer is absolute, every gesture of the calligrapher is essential. It is not the meaning of the character but the writing–the movement of execution and the action itself–that is important. “Tseng Yu-ho Ecke”. In this design, I wanted to show the connection between Emarati heritage, Arabic calligraphy and art. In a picture of an old detailed Emarati piece of jewelry with a touch from the past, mixed with circulated Aljale AlDewany calligraphy letters. The letters, In addition, the mixed colors keep the touch of the past of the United Arab Emirates.
